Delete your account and data

You can delete your Librena account and all the data linked to it at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.

From within the app

1. Open Librena and go to the Profile screen.
2. Tap My data.
3. Tap Delete my account and all my data and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted right away. The app then opens with a new, empty anonymous account.

If you can't access the app

Send an email with the subject "Account deletion request" to abdullahkaracabey@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. Once we have verified that the account is yours, we will delete your account and data within 30 days and let you know.

What is deleted

• All your chats and messages (including chats you deleted earlier)
• Your quest progress
• Your reader identities, memories and highlighted quotes
• Your feedback and the replies you reported
• Devices registered for notifications
• Your account (your email address and name)

What remains for a while

• Server logs (technical details, not chat content) are deleted within 30 days.
• Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is kept for the periods Google sets for those services.
• Audit records of our team's administrative actions may keep your account identifier; these records contain no chat content.

You can also delete a single chat without deleting your account: it leaves your list right away and is permanently deleted from our servers after 30 days. Details are in the privacy policy.
